Becoming Birth
Birth isn’t an event. It’s an experience. Learn how to move through it with clarity, instinct, and intuition.
YOU’RE THINKING ABOUT BIRTH ALL WRONG.
Because you’re assuming it’s like everything else you’ve done in your life. That you can outthink it. That if you research enough, plan enough, and do everything “right,” you’ll have a “good” one.
But birth isn’t an external event that happens to you.
It is you.
You are birth.
So to move through birth, you have to become it.
YOU’VE GOT YOUR BOOKS AND CHECKLISTS. YOUR RESEARCH, PODCASTS, AND SAVED REELS.
WHAT You’RE REALLY LOOKING FOR IS CERTAINTY.
That you won’t tear. Need a C section. Have conflict with your provider. Experience trauma. Run into an emergency.
You think if you prepare enough, you can guarantee yourself a specific outcome.
BUT YOU’rE MISSING THE ENTIRE POINT.
The hard parts of birth, its messiness and unpredictability… What if they’re actually an invitation?
To learn flow over force. Rhythm over resistance. Intuition over order.
To stop avoiding the intense parts OF LIFE and instead learn how to move through them?

WHAT IF YOU COULD find your power in the places you’ve always been too scared to look — in intensity, the unknown, uncertainty, stress, challenges?
WHAT IF YOU COULD FEEL YOUR WAY THROUGH BIRTH INSTEAD OF TRYING TO OUTTHINK IT?
WHAT WOULD IT FEEL LIKE TO…
✨ tune into your body and move, breathe, and release intuitively in a way that supports the labor process
✨ reconnect to your inner sense of knowing and your intuition, in order to make decisions that feel right in your gut
✨ fearlessly communicate with hospital staff about your priorities, decisions, and boundaries
✨ sink fully into your coping rhythms, trusting your partner to be your thinking mind while you labor
✨ flow through challenges, honoring your values and priorities no matter what comes up
✨ rely on your inner skills to navigate the unexpected instead of crossing your fingers that everything goes “perfectly”
Here’s WHAT I’ve LEARNED IN MY YEARS SUPPORTING BIRTHS
Powerful births are not outcome-based. They are skills-based.
THis means that you can learn HOW TO…
identify your priorities and protect them through labor’s twists and turns
take charge of your birth — your body, your baby, your decisions
advocate for yourself, even if you have an unsupportive provider
feel fully grounded in your body no matter how intense things get
cope with physical challenges (hello, contractions) and mental ones (all that uncertainty)
make hard decisions in the way that feels best to you
be 100% supported by your partner without having to ask for everything you need as your labor unfolds
own your birth experience and birth powerfully, no matter what happens
IT IS ABSOLUTELY POSSIBLE TO HAVE THE TRANSFORMATIVE EXPERIENCE YOU’RE HOPING FOR.
Because it’s absolutely possible to learn the skills that will support you through labor and birth, whatever your journey looks like.
But you have to start now, go deep, and bring your partner into the process.

so you can be prepared for an incredibly powerful birth experience, no matter how it unfolds.
Here’s How It Works
For 12 weeks, you and your partner go all in, working through the weekly modules with me by your side.
01
Perspective
Each module begins with a video on that week’s focus. I cover the fundamentals of prepping on every level, plus the nuances of birthing within the hospital system, from a variety of perspectives.
02
PRACTICE
Then you work through reflective questions to personalize the information you’ve learned plus activities to help you actually practice the skills and apply them to your regular life.
03
PRO SUPPORT
You’re not doing this alone. You have my support through 1:1 virtual meetings and biweekly check-ins to answer questions, work through challenges, and hold you accountable.

I recommend starting this program in your second trimester by about 24-26 weeks. That way you can complete one module a week and finish by about 36-38 weeks. However, if you’d like more time to practice the skills and/or are eager to get started, you can start the program as early as you would like and complete the modules at a slower pace.
Of course, you can start this program later in your pregnancy if you have time to complete multiple modules per week.
-
The program is designed to be completed over the course of 12 weeks by doing one module per week. However, you may move through the modules at your own pace. I would budget about 2-3 hours per week (if doing one module a week).
-
I'm going to be honest with you. The goal of this program is not for you to emerge with all the answers. It's designed to give you something much more valuable -- the skills you need to have a deeply meaningful birth experience and a deeply meaningful life, especially in times of change and uncertainty. The magic is in the process itself. You'll go step by step through the program with an experienced guide (me!) and learn more about yourself, your partner, birth, the hospital maternity care system, and more importantly, navigating the unknowns of life. In doing the work, you're developing and practicing the important skills you'll need. There's no test at the end (though there is a project that will help you apply everything you've learned during your birth); simply going through the experience is where the true value lies.
-
The cost of the program is a one-time payment of $997 or three payments of $385, totaling $1155.
-
The program consists of 12 modules, each with a video and packet (with a workbook and/or activities), plus 2 1:1 sessions with me and biweekly Voxer check ins. (In Voxer, you’ll send me a recorded message with your progress and questions, and I’ll listen and send you a message back with my thoughts and recommendations.)
-
Yes. There are two hour-long 1:1 sessions with me. We typically schedule one at the beginning of the program and one toward the end. We also have every other week Voxer check-ins to see how you're doing.
This personalized component of the program is incredibly important. You are not the "average birther." You have unique goals, priorities, fears, and ways of coping, and I look forward to hearing about all of it. My favorite part of birth work is getting to work with people one-on-one, and I knew that would be a huge part of my birth prep program.
-
Absolutely! It is designed to be done with your partner and will yield the best results that way! I want you to feel so supported by your partner during birth, and that works happens right now as you prepare together. Through this program, your partner will learn all my doula tips, tricks, and skills, so that they can take an active role in supporting you.
-
This is not a passive class -- it's an entire preparation program that you move through with your partner. Each week you'll watch a video lesson, complete written reflections, and practice specific activities designed to prepare you on every level. And you're not doing it alone! You'll receive my personalized support through our 1:1 sessions and Voxer chats to keep you on track and offer individualized recommendations.

Yes! You are exactly who I’ve designed this program for. I want you to know everything about the hospital system so you can feel super prepared.
-
This program is designed for birthers planning a hospital birth. There are some great home birth prep classes out there that will probably be a better fit for you.
-
This program is designed for birthers planning a vaginal hospital birth. While we do cover C sections, if you know you’re having one in advance, there are some great C section prep classes out there that will probably be a better fit for you.
-
Yes! I am a birth doula, and this program goes into significantly more depth than I’m able to with my in-person clients. What I've realized is that so much of my work with clients actually happens in the preparation stage, and the more work they do beforehand to get ready physically, mentally, and emotionally, the less there is to do in the actual labor room. So I decided to take everything I teach my clients now, plus everything I would want them to know if they were birthing without my in-person support, and put it all into this program.
While I think pretty much everyone would benefit from having an in-person doula at their birth, I know that not everyone is able to have that support and that not every doula is able to spend weeks preparing with you ahead of time. I designed this program to help you learn all the skills you need to navigate your hospital birth, whether or not you have in-person doula support.
